Just discovered this awesome indie movie after seeing it in the Movie Oracle Top Ten list for the decaded - So F'CKING AWESOME!!!. It's the best thing i've seen this year without a doubt.
Loved this movie. Holy moly not expected some of the sic scenes - dark and totally freaky.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate The Wicker Man shouldn't watch. British horror is typically far more subtle, quirky and intelligent than any other.

Literally signed up on IMDb to review this - it was a beautifully made horror - and had everything in it I love about horror and shocked that it's not at least an 8 so I'd doing my bit and giving it a 10! Amazing work by the filmmaker Scot Vickers looking out for more of his stuff.
Matriarch has a straight-forward, no-nonsense plot - about a women obsessed and tormented by not being able to have her own children. While there were really no subplots, the story really grabs your attention with the tension, suspense and well-pacing of the course of events.
This movie is truly one of the greatest indie horror movies out there. Simply because its so straightforward and Julie Hannas performance in it was truly incredible.
