"Marry Me For Christmas" is one of those movies that tries to show the viewers the pressure that many families put on each other, the female lead felt so much pressure that she presented a fake boyfriend to her family, okay I get that situation, but then the movie takes a completely different turn and makes the dedicated personal assistant into a slimy scumbag just so that the main female lead can do a complete one-eighty and fall for the guy that she did not even like her entire life...near the end of the film she 'confesses' to the guy that she did not want to marry anyone because 'they were just not him', i'm not buying it, this is a silly romantic comedy, I honestly thought at the beginning of the film that she and the assistant would end up falling for each other, that would have made it a better movie.
I'm super in love w this Christmas series. I'm praying they continue to make them every year.
My husband and I enjoyed this movie. It was very cute, I liked the characters and I personally really like the main actress.
