Goofs

Even though the movie is based in Brooklyn, while Max is talking with his dad in the car, you see a bus with Red and Orange stripes roll by.

Buses in New York have blue stripes.

Red and Orange were the colors of the Metro buses in Los Angeles in the early to mid-1990s.

Max appears to die.

He is lying on his back and there's a wooden plank under his left arm and shoulder.

In the next close-up shot, when Kazaam strokes his hair, the plank of wood is under his neck and head.

When Kazaam is singing the song "We genie" with Max, if you look closely, when he raps the part, ".

And we was in Hades 'cause we moved with the Harem of the Prince of Akabrem.

" His mouth is still moving for that split second after he finishes the line, but before they show Max's Face.

Reviews

First off, I will not sit here and say that the movie was perfect. However, I feel like everybody did great in their roles for their character portrayals.

I liked this movie a lot. It's really stupid in a lot of ways, but it does a lot of things right and very well.

This movie contains one of the most underrated actors of all time in Shaq. Not to mention the fact that he enters the movie rapping in typical Shaq fashion and he raps multiple times in the movie.

Despite all the negative reviews and the many obvious and facetious 10/10 reviews, I decided to give this a go one day when it was on tv and after about 30 minutes or so, I still had no idea what I was watching. This was made in the 90s and that's where this should've stayed.

Kazaam" is a massive failure on so many levels that showcases a production company's desire to take advantage of children and is a backdoor way for Shaq to promote a rap career. This movie fails with everything it sets out to accomplish.

Kazaam is one of the best movies ever made. I hat insult to such an amazing movie that people give it such a bad rating.

I am 25 years old, and I just watched this entire movie for the first time in my life, and honestly, I found this movie to be very fun. What do movies have to be like in order to be good then?

Twenty years later this movie is still a great movie!! I thought eh, what the heck...

OK, i'll admit that this movie is defiantly not going to be the idealistic fun, thrilling, and adventurous movie that adults these days like to see, but it is absolutely wonderful for children. It is a great family movie to watch.
