Katy Perry: Part of Me

In one scene, Katy Perry is seen receiving an award at the 2011 American Music Awards before the film cuts to a backstage scene of Lady Gaga supposedly congratulating her, despite the fact that the latter artist did not attend that awards show.

(The backstage scene actually takes place at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Honestly, as I was watching this, I thought it was a mockumentary.

I think the words "boring" don't do justice to this dull and self indulgent egotistical extravaganza. It's difficult to find enough words in my vocabulary to describe the utter mediocrity of this vane auto biopic of Katy Perry's shallow little world.

There are some very miserable spiteful reviews on here. They usually contain such revelations as 'I don't like Katy Perry's music and hated this movie'.

I think that Katy Perry is about "girl empowerment"-that is to say I think she wants girls to be proud of themselves-and teenage girls as well-so instead of doing what everybody else does- she is an original who is not like the other female singers out there whose are mostly about 'being a Femme Fatale.' Britney Spears even named one of her albums 'Femme Fatale.

Alright so I seen this in the cinemas last year with my brother and my mom. Of course we ended up watching this unannounced because the film that we were suppose to watch was on too late and we couldn't stay to watch it (BTW the film we were suppose to see was ICE AGE 4) but instead I said to my mom how about Katy Perry's concert movie.

When I say I'm a non Katy fan, I don't mean I dislike her. I just mean I've only heard her on the radio.

I love Katy Perry and it's really cool to have made a film telling of his journey to stardom! The documentary tells how his life was complicated in relation to their parents, devoted only to Christianity and, therefore, were too conservative to release her daughter to her dreams, but she did not give up, went to California, he struggled to be recognized by a record label to get his first hit - I Kissed a Girl - was funny to say that she was surprised to hear your own music on the radio.

I wouldn't say I'm a "fan" of Katy Perry but I do like her music. I was curious to see into the world of Katy Perry.

I have 501 movies in my collection. This is, by far, the best in my collection.
