Other than Jaws this is got to be one of the best animal attack movies out there. Real bear, great practical effects, steller cast, basic but effective plot.
This movie had the potential to be a very good movie. Shortly after it begin and start to go downhill.
Ok so this is the first time I've ever given a 3 on a movie and I felt compelled to also give my 1st review as well to qualify my rating.My subject line pretty much says it all.
I was pleasantly surprised by how Good this movie was, In To The Grizzly Maze is a fun & wild ride with two excellent leads with Thomas Jane & James Marsden. Two estranged brothers (Jane & Marsden) come together to fight off an incredibly deadly & huge Grizzly bear that's hunting & killing anything or anyone it comes across.
Honestly, this isn't a bad film, it's not a good one either and I wouldn't recommend logging onto Amazon Prime right away to get a look, but if you fancy a film about a bunch of actors you've seen before somewhere being hunted by a big Grizzly, who is actually played by a big Grizzly and knowing that most of the people you meet upon the way are going to end up as meat for the Grizzly, then why not waste ninety minutes, I did - but hey this could also be one of those films that I've watched so you don't have to - seems like I did it for the rest of the population as well though!
Why would Billy Bob Thornton be in such a dumb movie? Good to watch for laughs.
I like wilderness films, but this was absolutely atrocious. And the message "nature is nasty and everything should be shot and killed by the almighty human with a rifle".
No idea why so many negative reviews !!!!!!!A nice drama thriller in original settings and scenery with a good enough plot and characters.
Didn't even make 20min in. Poor script, acting, etc...
