In Search of Fellini

I found this movie on the Kanopy site through my public library's subscription, viewed via Roku streaming.This movie has somewhat mixed reviews and after watching it I have somewhat mixed feelings about it.

03/13/2020 Easy to follow, light hearted uneventful movie. 20 year old Lucy who has been sheltered her entire life discovers Fellini and her journey begins.

I love Fellini, as do many. so I hoped there would be somethng to like in this film.

It's 1993. Lucy Cunningham (Ksenia Solo) is a naive 20 year old living in small town Ohio with her dreamer mother Claire (Maria Bello).

I hope you can watch, and after you do that, please review this amazing movie,and be pleases to leave a 10 as i did. This way ,all of us can make a difference , the difference that puts something special at the top, not all of those crappy movies that gives you nothing but a truly time-wasting!

I like this kind of movie. The interlacing of fantasy and reality, the expression of stream of consciousness, the switching of lens and the use of light and shadow make the movie full of tension.

We love the doting mother who creates a daughter child who is open to experience the true soul of life. Piqued by Fellini she takes us on an awakening journey and through her we experience love and life.

This film is a magical journey, truly. The cinematography, sound and music combine with winning direction and performances to make for a very emotional and aesthetic film.

Just a wonderful vibrant story about coming of age . Smartly written, beautifully imaged, thoroughly well acted, directed and scored.
