Experienced filmmaker Penelope Spheeris was on set for the making of 'Blood Dolls' and made a frank and open documentary (with the approval of Charles Band) about the making of the film. This includes Phil Fondacaro admitting that Band has not always paid him on time; some of the girl band from the film admitting that they have a top lawyer to make sure they get paid and so on (I imagine this is why the band never surfaced outside of the film as was initially the idea - though some of the band sing solo now).
