When Grey Owl's publisher Champlin arrives by airplane, to convince Grey Owl to go on tour in England, the airplane shown is clearly a DeHavilland DHC-2 "Beaver" on floats.
This scene is set in approximately 1935, but the DeHavilland Beaver did not make its first flight until 1947.
When Archie is skinning a deer he has it hung up by the neck.
Normally game is hung by the hind legs and bled from the neck before it is skinned or butchered.

I don't expect to see nudity in a PG-13 rated movie. I'm actually careful about what I watch it.
The way the story was told was done very well it was told in a peaceful way and it shows how anybody can become part of nature and be a part of the world as it should be in harmony. I like the way the movie was done, directed and the acting.
This film captivated me from the beginning and held me all the way to the end.
Richard Attenborough's penultimate film as a director, this is a very good film with many interesting things to say about the necessity of conservation. It is based on the true story of the supposed Canadian First Nations trapper and hunter turned conservationist Grey Owl who was revealed after his death to be in fact an Englishman named Archibald Belaney.
Public opinion on Grey Owl is mixed, with an IMDb rating of 60%, Rotten Tomatoes gives it just an 18% approval. The movie is based on the true life story of Archie Grey Owl, played in the film by Pierce Brosnan.
Here, on IMDb.com I read an opinion, that Grey Owl is best character of Pierce Brosnan ever performed.
This film is wonderful in every way that modern action adventures are not. Take some time.
This is one of my favourite films, on a very short list!
I saw this picture on a plane and was so bored I wanted to jump! Honestly, I wanted to escape, but couldn't because I was trapped at 30,000 feet.
