Of course comparing the original series with this one is like comparing a German Shepherd with a poodle puppy with a belt about to explode, so it may be better not to do it.Looking at it as a standalone series, it has some good acting by Grant Show, Elizabeth Gillies and Alan Dale and that's itThe storyline is horrible.
Both season are great to watch. The first season is allaround fun, but it gets borring closing in.

DYNASTY, folks, in retrospect, is really a comedy masquerading as a nighttime drama! NOTHING in this show was very realistic, but that's the fun of it.
It is so unrealistic ans dramatic like a soap opera. It's easy to watch but the plot is just so weak.
Dynasty is one of the best shows out there. I just wish there were more seasons bceasue it was too fire .
Its one of the most underrated seasons, totally in love with its story. I hate Alexis as you will too after watching it.
