Frankie's hand on the scissors as he pulls them out of his back.

The address on the driver's license Pete gives "Grace" has one street number on Hightower, then later, when Mike Church kicks in her door, the *real* address of the actual Hightower residence is on the exterior wall beside the door.

After Frankie has stabbed Margaret, and is cleaning the scissors, he has the anklet in his hand in one shot before he pulls it off.

Grace says "I know my left hand from my right hand" but gestures with the wrong hands.

In the opening credits, the newspaper stories (other than the obvious headlines) consist of the same five paragraphs printed 37 times in succession.

Reviews

In this splendid psychological thriller, a murder from the past haunts a present day woman named Grace, wonderfully played by Emma Thompson. And a cocky private detective named Mike Church (Kenneth Branagh) tries to help her make sense of her personal nightmare.

Dead Again was the film that really introduced actor/director Kenneth Branagh to mainstream American film, and for a time he and then, wife Emma Thompson were the most celebrated acting couple since Olivier and Leigh. The marriage did not last, but fortunately this film did and I say fortunately, for although it is somewhat forgotten today, Dead Again is an overlooked jewel of a film: classy, noir-ish, stylish, and very memorable indeed.

Branagh's ambitious past-life thriller is very much a product of its time, and seen today it feels rather dated: there are cheesy haircuts and outfits galore. Plus, the viewer never really believes Branagh's American accent, which remains distracting throughout the movie.

This is a great show! I don't understand why we haven't seen more from this show!

This show reminds me of Cold Justice except the case is often solved but this team is going over the case to see if the right person is in jail, if the conclusion the police made then still stands. It's interesting bc they actually reconstruct the scene instead of just pics and they aren't told what the verdict of the case was before, it's like it just happened and they have to figure out what happened..

I don't know how this movie got good ratings.

I like crime mysteries, so I guess I am a bit biased. I also think that Kenneth Branagh is good in front and behind the camera.

An amnesiac (Emma Thompson) and a private eye (Kenneth Branagh) find they might have a past life connection.Somehow this film ended up on my list of horror and thriller films to see.

OK I'm giving this 9 stars not only because it's a great film but mainly because Emma Thompson. This woman is a genius and probably the best modern actress out there today.
