When Chong is urinating out of the open bathroom window, the camera pulls back slightly and reveals that the "pee" is actually water running from a sponge being held just off frame.
The crew member holding the trickling garden hose quickly pulls his hand out of frame, but not fast enough.
After Cheech and Chong remake their van and after jumping their van, you can see feet pushing the van.
In the scene where Red and Chong walk into the music store, Chong picks up a Fender Stratocaster and starts playing.
The camera cuts around the store and, when it cuts back to Chong, he is suddenly playing a Gibson Les Paul.
In the welfare office, the long string of numbers coming from the dispenser varies in length throughout the scene.
When Chong and Red are walking around the hotel with Red's luggage (just before the police sirens get their attention), the camera tilts and pans to keep them on screen.
As the camera moves, shadows of the camera and crew become visible at the bottom left corner of the screen.

This film is awful. If you like tequila and 'weed,' and two brainless idiots, who like to turn their stereo up very loud, rev their motorbike up, and make catcalls at every woman they see, then watch this film.
Cheech (Cheech Marin) and Chong (Tommy Chong) are up to their ridiculous drug-infused brand of misadventures. Cheech loses his job and gets his welfare clerk girl Donna in trouble.

It was a good part 2. They had better production in this movie.
Cheech and Chong live in a decrepit old house and drive their neighbour crazy with their loud music, weed smoking and general anarchy and slacker view on life. Just when life couldn't get more wild, Chong meets Cheech's Texan cousin Red and things kick up a notch.
Cheech and Chong's Next Movie (1980)** (out of 4)This follow up to UP IN SMOKE really doesn't have any plot but just a bunch of gags dealing with Cheech and Chong getting into various bits of trouble and yes, most of it deals with pot. CHEECH AND CHONG'S NEXT MOVIE is a surprisingly lame and tame movie that hasn't aged very well at all.
The second movie featuring the stoner duo has them continue their goofy adventures. There are gags with pee, songs, and even a brothel.
The two stoners (Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong) and their friends go through another series of crazy, drug-influenced misadventures.Almost everyone agrees that this second Cheech and Chong film is not as good as the first ("Up In Smoke").
More juvenile nonsense from the folks who brought you "Up in Smoke". If redefining the word 'stupid' was the film's mission, then it succeeded immensely.
