In most shots, Robert Reed (6'3") is visibly taller than co-star June Kenney (5'2").

But in some scenes (eg, when they are exploring the mansion), she appears to be only a few inches shorter than he is.

When Jondor lifts the blind covering the case with the girl suspended in formaldehyde, her head is tilted towards the camera, but in the close-up it is facing the bottom of the tank.

Obvious male stand-in when Betty flips Balleau's henchman into the boiling water tank.

In the scene where Belaeu shoots the small horse statue to illustrate the deadliness of his crossbow, you can plainly see the fake bolt (arrow) hanging in the air a few inches away from the just shattered statue - a moment later it's stuck in the wall.

The umpteenth version of "the most dangerous game" ,in which only Wilton Graf as the mad hunter ,plays his game well: his character is not too much cardboard : after all ,he was a sniper, a sharp shooter,it's only natural he has developped a taste for killing his fellow men ,who are criminals, convicts ,provided by the sailor :blame it on the war .But this time ,the preys are not convicts but innocent young boys and girls :will they escape from the terrible fate which lays in store for them?

Yes, the comparison to both "The Most Dangerous Game" and "Island of Lost Souls" (later two "Dr. Moreau" movies) are obvious from the get-go, and the presence of Robert Reed will also create curiosity.

Entertaining take on "The Most Dangerous Game" featuring "teens" (you know, the kind in their late-20s), violence and a bit of gore. Apparently it was a feature on MST3K...

Taking a look at a Mill Creek box set that a fellow IMDber has very kindly sent me,I spotted a title that appeared to be inspired by The Most Dangerous Game",which led to me getting ready for the bloodlust to be unleashed. The plot:Travelling round in the tropics,a group of teens spot a deserted island.

This film isn't really as despicable as it's been described. For those who haven't seen "The Most Dangerous Game" it has a charm of its own.

"While vacationing in the tropics, a group of teen-agers set sail to an apparent deserted island. What they discover when they arrive is that the island is owned by Dr.

A group of youngsters land on a beautiful, seemingly deserted island while taking a detour on their boating trip. After exploring the wooded island for a few hours they run into a seemingly sweet older man who convinces them to stay at his house since it is getting dark and there are a lot of scary animals roaming the woods at night.

I enjoyed this movie, I didn't try to take it seriously or try to notice flaws and the like,, I think it was meant to be sorta campy and not taken to seriously by anybody, you have a rich eccentric on an island who has big game trophies ,, and I guess he got bored hunting animals so he decides instead to ramp up the challenge and hunt humans.. a bunch of kids get marooned on "his" little corner of the world, and they come upon his mansion,, at first the gentleman seems nice enough and wants them to stay the night until morning,, but soon these kids find out that the gentleman has some ulterior motives, the kids meet a man and woman who convince them that this is not the safest place to be and try to arrange an escape,, needless to say that really isn't a good idea when you have a professional hunter stalking you every step of the way.

For a movie that is a variation on "The Most Dangerous Game", BLOODLUST is a surprisingly dull film. Part of it seems to be due to director/cowriter Ralph Brooke having no confidence in the source material, of a rich madman living on an exotic tropical island, hunting other people for sport.
