Bad Ronald

I watched this TV movie when it premiered in 1974. I was eleven at the time, and it was one of the creepiest movies I'd ever seen at that point!

Synopsis: An older boy accidentally commits a very serious crime his mother protects him in a secret room to avoid the police.This taut little thriller is remembered well.

Several people have commented on the bizarre fantasy aspects of this weird little movie...and for that we can thank the fantastic imagination of its author, the inimitable Jack Vance.

One of the better TV movies from 1970's I saw this movie a long time ago. I remember it well and I loved it.

You'll probably read descriptions of "Bad Ronald" that make it sound like a horror movie. A more accurate description would be a thriller.

One of those flicks someone is hiding in a house. Ronald is that kind of guy that no one likes, he's a nerd.

'Bad Ronald' tells the tale of a young teenage boy who accidentally kills a child, and is forced to go in hiding - within the walls of his own house! Ronald is a shy teenager who appears to not have many friends, if any at all.

A loving and controlling mother locks her son within the walls of their house when he is accused of murdering a local child in 'Bad Ronald'.Ronald Wilby is a lonely teenage boy who has pretty much no friends to speak of and is mocked at every turn by others his age.
