Amityville: The Awakening

There's just not a lot here to review, honestly. Stuff happens, some of it is creepy, then it's over.

If Cameron Monaghan wasn't in this film it would of gotten a 3/10. Even though he barley speaks throughout the film, just his body motions alone provide that extra unease during a "scary" scene.

This production was originally intended as a major theatrical release by its distributor, but after spending several years on the shelf, it was quietly dumped in just a few theaters before making its way onto DVD and streaming. It's pretty easy to see why the distributor apparently had very little confidence in the end results.

Not the best horror movie out there but it was enjoyable. Don't go into this movie with high expectations, you will be disappointed.

Joan Walker (Jennifer Jason Leigh) moves to 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, New York, forty years after a notorious killing of a family occurred. She is in the hopes that some of the hair-raising rumors are real and there are dark evil powers remaining that can cure her comatose son (Cameron Monaghan).

Hooray an amityville movie In god knows how long in the place it should be the house!!! It's the most decent one they have done in ages not like all these amityville object or place themed movies !

2017.. who wanted to know what happenned to the white family moving to a haunted house?

This film honestly got bad ratings due to other installments being horrid. The scares are fine, some were creepy, I think one was cheap but the rest was good 6.
