Minji Kang is a South Korean born American Film Director. She came to America in 2000 to attend Tabor Academy. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus on Experimental Film Art and Aesthetics. She continued her artistic development at Columbia University, where she received her MFA in Film Directing. While attending Columbia, she dedicated herself to the craft of writing and to understanding what it means to create. Minji Kang is a recipient of the SAIC Enrichment scholarship as well as the Columbia TOMS scholarship.
The second of five children, with younger brothers and an older sister.
