Throughout her married life, close friend (and Harolds secretary) Roy Brooks lived with the Lloyds at Greenacres and kept Mildred company when Harold was not at home.

Was among the elite list of Hollywood starlets for the role of the young Swedish soprano Christine Daa in the film adaption of Gaston Lerouxs novella "Le Fantme de lOpra" (The Phantom of the Opera) in 1924, that Carl Laemmle wanted.
