On January 12th, 2006, his first film, "Autumn Angel" become the only independent film ever to sell out the Historic Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise.
Before joining the movie business professionally, he was a member of the Casper, Wyoming Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps as a Trumpet player from 2001-2002 and led the group as Drum Major from 2003-2004.
