Mike Brown is the eclectic guitarist for LCGC and loves his Gospel heritage. He also plays drums, bass and keyboards. Mike has worked with Roachford, Chaka Khan, Bond (classical group), Tom Brown, Damage and has toured with George Michael (2006-2008).
Michael once covered the Green Bay Packers as a reporter in 2005. That year the Packers went 4-12, they missed the playoffs and head coach Mike Sherman was fired. Michael is a superstitious Packers fan and he vowed to never cover them again after that. Since then they have made the NFL playoffs 8 times with one Super Bowl victory.
When Michael was 16 he was pen pals with Natalie Portman. He has followed her career from the very beginning. Its possible he is her very first fan.
When Michael was 13, he was once called to audition for a commercial with NBA superstar Michael Jordan, but his parents would not pull him out of school for it. Michael to this day still doesnt let them forget about it. He asks, "How could you NOT pull me out of school for that!?".
