Melody Butiu has performed as an actress and singer across the country and overseas. She has appeared in the films, Blood Ransom and Atonal. Her Television credits include, "Raising Hope," "NCIS," "Melissa & Joey," "Harry's Law, " "True Blood, " "No Ordinary Family," "Desperate Housewives," "Modern Family," "Samantha Who," "Cold Case," "Without A Trace," "Rules Of Engagement," "Scrubs," "Invasion," and "General Hospital." With a vibrant theatre career, she has performed in the world premiere productions of "The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow" . Melody will play Estrella in David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's musical, "Here Lies Love" at The Public Theater in New York City.
Graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in 1999.
