Born Matthew Looker Provenza-- Matt was born in the suburbs of Detroit in 1994. His paternal grandfather was of Italian descent. Matt's early life consisted mostly of rock n' roll drumming and competitive swimming, however he has seriously pursued acting since he was 18. He has a BFA in Acting from the University of Michigan, and has also studied at the American Conservatory Theatre, Stella Adler Conservatory, and the Actors Studio.
