Studied at the TVI Actors Studio in New York and earned a B.A. in Communication at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey where he played "Taylor McGowan" in "Prelude to a Kiss," under the direction of Deirdre Yates.

Son of an Honorably Discharged U.S. Army Veteran (Specialist 2nd Class)/Creditor/Little League Umpire (Richard) and an Administrative Assistant/Cub Scout Den Mother (Dolores). He has a brother and sister.

Appeared in seven Roselle Park (NJ) Community Theatre productions, including the role of Orin, The Dentist in "Little Shop of Horrors," (under the Musical Direction of longtime school administrator, band director, and multi-instrumentalist Frank Ferlazzo), the character of Rooster in "Annie," and Jon Trachtman in "Love, Sex, and the I.R.S." Also appeared as Pete in "I Was a Teenage Dracula," Lyman/Goldschmidt in "Barnum," Ed Sullivans Voice in "Bye, Bye, Birdie," and Vince Fontaine in "Annie".
