Biography

Los Angeles native, Marques T. Owens is an extremely innovative only-child, who always knew that he wanted to be apart of the entertainment industry in a creative way. After prestigious internships at Warner Bros. and A&M Records, he realized his calling was to become a filmmaker and produce/direct videos. Upon graduating from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, Owens ran successful businesses in graphic design, photography, and video production. It was in 2004 when Owens finally decided to move back to Los Angeles and begin his career in filmmaking. Immediately upon his arrival, he wrote and directed his first comedy feature "Occupation: Hollywood, The Movie" which won him the Robert Rodriguez Award of Excellence still continues to produce/direct videos and tell stories through his slick, contrasty, fast cutting, and vibrant style.
