Biography

Mark H. Young is a writer, director and artist living in Los Angeles. Born in New York, he went to college for architectural design, but left school to become a fine artist. He recently completed "Feral", starring Scout Taylor-Compton, Olivia Luccardi and Lew Temple. His film "Southern Gothic", starring William Forsythe and Yul Vazquez, premiered at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival and is distributed by IFC Films. "Tooth and Nail", starring Vinnie Jones, Michael Madsen, Robert Carradine, Michael Kelly and Rider Strong, premiered at the exclusive Los Angeles ScreamFest in 2008, and was released theatrically nationwide on 500 screens by Lion's Gate. "The Killing Jar", starring Michael Madsen, Harold Perrineau, Amber Benson, Danny Trejo, and Jake Busey, was shot in 10 days and released theatrically in five cities, including New York and Los Angeles, in 2010. "Wicked Blood" starring Sean Bean, Abigail Breslin and James Purefoy, premiered at the 2014 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and sold to Entertainment One.
