Biography

Mark was born in Wisconsin and raised in Michigan in a family of four brothers, one sister and parents from the Netherlands. Hengst means "Stallion" in Dutch and German. While majoring in criminal justice in college, Mark was approached by a talent agent and commercials and modeling soon followed. While a career as an investigator for luxury retailer Neiman Marcus in San Diego and Phoenix kept him busy for the next several years, it was interest by industry people in Los Angeles that finally convinced Mark to pursue acting professionally in 2003. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Mark immediately landed roles in several independent films, pilots and music video's. Now living the life of a working actor, Mark's future as a contending leading man is in site with no limit to his success.
