Actress, stunt woman, dancer and martial artist Marjean Holden was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and raised in Vail, Colorado. She started acting from the age of 9, well being from the family of entertainers, she already knew her profession. As a youngster, she showed multiple skills in her school plays, and also in sports. Later she started martial arts training in boxing and Wun Hop Kuen Do, which she used in most of her action-fighting films. With her athletic abilities and martial arts, she entered in the world of motion pictures as an actress and stunt woman. Some of her stunt work was in _Bulletproof .
Marjean Holden was raised in Vail, Colorado, where she became interested in acting at the age of nine. After performing in nearly every school play or musical, she went on to study Television Producing and Directing, first at Northern Arizona University and finally at Arizona State University.
Trained in Wun Hop Kuen Do (Kung Fu style).
Studied Wun Hop Kuen Do under sifu Earl White.
She worked with many combat veterans and for her effort she received an award from Military order of the purple heart.
One of her favorite films is Excalibur.
Holds black belt in Wun Hop Kuen Do (Kung Fu style).
Graduated from Battle Mountain High School in Eagle-Vail, Colorado with the Class of 1983.
Mother is mixed German, Dutch and Italian. And her Father is mixed African American and Native American.
Has a brother and a sister: Kevin Holden and Lisa Holden.
