Born in Augusta, Georgia, Marcus Anderson spent the majority of his life growing up internationally as a military dependent. His mother is from Panama and his father is from Camp Springs, Maryland. Anderson knew he wanted to be an actor since the age of six, after first watching Tom Hanks in the movie, Forest Gump. Marcus graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 where he studied Multidisciplinary Studies and was also a member of the track and field team.
