Biography

Marcia Clark is a former LA, California deputy district attorney, who was the lead prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson murder case. She wrote a bestselling nonfiction book about the trial, Without a Doubt, and is a frequent media commentator and columnist on legal issues. She lives in Los Angeles.

Worked for the Los Angeles law firm of Brodey & Price before resigning to become an Assistant District Attorney for Los Angeles County.

Graduated from Southwestern University Law School in 1979 and passed the California Bar the same year.

Graduated from UCLA in 1976 with a bachelors degree in political science.

Graduated from Susan Wagner High School in Staten Island, New York in 1971. Her father had moved the family in January, so she couldnt graduate with her class. The school mailed her diploma to her.

She was not then Los Angeles District Attorney Gil Garcetti s first choice as lead prosecutor as hed hoped to give the case to more experienced prosecutor Bill Hodgman but for a chronic heart defect that caused Hodgman to collapse during a strategy meeting.
