After her mothers death in 1998, upon advice of family friend Dom DeLuise , she decided that Lamb Chop should live on for her many fans and began performing with Lamb Chop. Upon relaunching Lamb Chops career, Mallory legally changed her surname to Lewis to honor her mother.
