Biography

Malcolm began his career in the film industry at 17 and four years later PM'd his first feature, the UK/Finnish co-pro "Merisairas". Born in Malta, he trained on film sets whilst producing documentaries for the national broadcaster and in 1997 won the Best Documentary Award for the Austrian/Maltese co-pro "A Gentleman from Malta". In the same year he directed the first Flemish music video on MTV called "Laat me Maar". In 1998 he worked for Toronto's Catalyst Entertainment to head the marketing and production departments at the water SFX facility Mediterranean Film Studios. In 1999 the studio enjoyed its busiest year since its founding back in 1964. In freelancing Malcolm line-produced challenging ads for renowned brands including Bacardi, Volvo, Corona, Chanel and L'Oreal. Film & TV employers include 20th Century Fox, Pathe Films, CBS and Universal Studios. In 2001 he created The Producer's Creative Partnership , the first production organization of its kind in Malta. He has worked in Canada, South Africa, Hungary, Slovakia, Sicily, Jordan, South America, UAE and Malta. His hobbies include kayaking, traveling and drone piloting.
