Madelon Schoenmaker was born in Ermelo, Gelderland, the Netherlands 1981. Madelon always made people laugh at primary and high school but didn't know yet, that would become one of her strengths in her thirties. What she knew for sure was that she wanted to act. So she did auditions for several 'acting schools' in her twenties, because she thought that was the only way to learn the acting 'skills'. Unfortunately she didn't come through the auditions and her life took a complete different turn. 15 years later, after reading the book: 'Big Magic' she actually thought how stupid it was to take the feedback of the institutions so seriously and tried to approach her desire for 'acting' in a different way. She noticed that cabaret would suit her better so she went to the Koningstheateracademie in Den Bosch. From that point on she noticed that her humorous/absurd way of standing on stage was also applicable as an actress. As a result she played in comedy short films. Nevertheless she also played in dramatic short films.
