Gave birth to her first child at age 22, a son Aleksey Makarov on February 15, 1972. Childs father is her first husband, Valery Makarov.

Gave birth to her second child at age 35, a daughter Marietta Tsigal-Polishchuk on October 14, 1984. Childs father is her second husband, Sergei Tsigal.

In 2000 she seriously suffered in a car crash and then she was able to play on the stage only in orthopedic corset.

In early March 2006 she returned to Moscow from Isael where she treated for spinal cancer. Despite the fact she was terminal at the that time, she continued to play on sitcom show "Moya prekrasnaya nyanya" ("My Beautiful Nanny" in English); on the last day of shooting (end of March), she asked for leave from the hospital. The next few months she lived on strong painkillers.

On November 25, 2006 relatives couldnt wake her up, she fell into a coma and was taken to hospital. As it turned out she had a hypertensive crisis caused by the intake of pain medication. After the provision of adequate medical assistance actress was discharged home. On the morning of November 28, 2006 she died in her sleep aged 57 at her Moscow apartment in the Big breech Lane (died in her sleep). She was buried on November 30 at the cemetery Troekurov capital (station number 6a).

In 2005 she was diagnosed with spinal cancer. She treated for the disease in both Russia and Israel, but without much success. Some part of her spine was removed.
