Biography

Lynn Downey was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. She studied acting at Ball State University before graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Theatre . After moving to Los Angeles, Lynn has worked in commercials, film, and theatre. Lynn is a founding member of Monkey Butler Comedy where she performs, teaches, and met her husband, Dan Braswell. She created and hosts the quirky cooking show, "The Can Do Kitchen" and her short story "Blue" was turned into an award winning short film. She adapted Shauna Niequist's best selling memoir into Cold Tangerines: The Play and appeared in the starring role for the world premier at The Fremont Centre Theatre in 2014. She loves to cook and make people laugh. She also loves to make people laugh while cooking.
