Stage, film, television actress
An accomplished actress, she has also appeared often on stage and co-starred with Malcolm McDowell in a production of "Look Back in Anger" that earned her a Theatre World Award and was subsequently produced in a film version. On Broadway she has appeared in such distinguished productions as "Rumors" and "Arcadia", and also was among the cast (playing the mother) in the short-lived musical "High Society," based on the play "The Philadelphia Story". This year she will again be appearing on Broadway in a revival of "Accent on Youth".
An alumnus of The Acting Company and graduate of Juilliard.
