Lillian Leighton

She was to play a role in The Volga Boatmen, being filmed in Rio Vista, California in 1923. She had an argument with director DeMille (she was somewhat uncontrollable) and he threw her off of the picture. This is the reason she has an unidentified role and is uncredited on the picture, although it appears on her list of credits.

A noted villainess of the silent screen, with Selig in the 1910s. Still seen in small supporting roles during the 30s.
