Biography

A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama, Leanne trained with the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company, where she received the award for "Outstanding Achievement in Studio". She later went on to receive classical training from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in her hometown of London, England. While still a student at NYU, she started working professionally as an actress in June 2012 with her role, Riley in Every Word Handwritten who play her grandparents in the movie. In spring of 2014, she played a co-star role on an episode of Blue Bloods. She then went on to play the role of Carol Conway in the critically acclaimed production of Time and the Conways at the Old Globe in San Diego. The production was selected as a Critic's Choice by the LA Times. In summer of 2014, Leanne began working for MTV. She first starred in a public service announcement for the company, addressing racial bias and stereotypes. A month later, she was cast as Megan O'Dell in the new series One Bad Choice. The public service announcement first aired in July 2014 while the series is set to premiere in late 2014.
