Landon's first TV role was Mitch Yancey on Castle. Coming from an aviation background and studying aerodynamics at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University the transition into acting and directing was an interesting one. Landon started making sketch comedy videos with Machinima and Makers Studios- first by writing and acting then transitioning into directing as well. His successful viral comedy content afforded him the opportunity to direct commercials, which transitioned into his first film Dicky Sledgehammer. Dicky has been selected to play in over a dozen film festivals and he's been nominated as best comedy actor and best director for Dicky Sledgehammer in numerous festivals.

Nephew of Major Truman H. Landon, who was played by Norman Alden in the movie Tora Tora Tora.
Was once an airline pilot for United Airlines.
Studied acting at Tisch School of the Arts. While in the MFA program he won two acting awards for best performance in off Broadway productions.

Received his PhD in Astrophysics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006.
