Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom was born in San Francisco to a Puerto Rican mother and an Irish-American father. Her mother died of leukemia when Kimberly was ten, and she and her younger brother were raised by a single father. Kimberly worked her way through college and law school, including a brief stint as a lingerie model, before becoming an assistant district attorney in San Francisco. She received national attention in 2001, when she successfully prosecuted two defendants whose dogs had mauled a woman to death in San Francisco. That same year, she married 'Gavin Newsom' . She is also a legal analyst for the Fox News Channel.
