Trivia

In 2015, Kim assisted Executive Producers Dan Jinks, David Marshall Grant and Creator/Executive Producer Paul Downs Colaizzo on LFE, a pilot for CBS Studios. While in this capacity she learned upwards of ten billion things.

Kim is a mostly self-taught editor, and was one of only 14 editors accepted to the American Film Institutes MFA Film Editing class of 2017. Despite being overwhelmingly tempted and flattered, she opted not to attend.

Kim lived in Tokyo, Japan between the ages of 7 and 10.

In 2012, Kim was commissioned by Meredith Corporation (Better Homes & Gardens) to create a crafting-related web-series as part of the debut of their YouTube Channel, part of YouTubes "100 Original Channels Project." Craft & Burn, co-produced and directed by Johnson Henshaw, is a ten episode Brechtian saga in the style of A&Es Intervention, following a bottomed-out crafting addict as she struggles through recovery with her court-appointed therapist. Despite being hailed by NY Times TV writer Mike Hale as a standout series in his survey of the "100 Original Channels,", Meredith opted not to renew for a second season black-market glue guns and glitter track marks.

Nobody Cares Productions freshman project, Entrepreneur, premiered at SeriesFest in Denver, Colorado in 2015. Entrepreneur was also an official selection of ITVFest 2015, the 2015 Bushwick Film Festival, and was optioned by FilmBank Entertainment.
