Biography

Kenny Leu was born in Taiwan, but grew up in the Bay Area. Growing up in an immigrant household, Kenny's aspirations were simple: to make a living and make his parents proud. After earning a Mechanical Engineering degree from UC Berkeley, he helped to found a Silicon Valley startup and worked as a programmer for the early part of his 20s. Wanting to turn his focus toward creative pursuits and eager to work on projects that promote positive images of Asian Americans, Kenny decided to became an actor and move to Los Angeles in 2014. Kenny is currently best known for playing Gohan on Dragonball Z: Light of Hope on YouTube, but he has also appeared on several TV shows: NCIS, The Player. Catch him soon on The Long Road Home, and as the lead of an upcoming untitled independent feature. Outside of acting, he was a member of the United States Wushu team from 2010 - 2012 , winning medals all over the world. Having been born in Taiwan, he also speaks fluent Mandarin.
