Biography

Kelsa Kinsly is from Vancouver, British Columbia on Canada's west coast. Her first break was at radio station 99.3 The Fox, where she learned the art of radio. She hosted numerous TV shows and won many acting jobs in her home town, before relocating to Toronto in 1998. Here, Kelsa worked as the Canadian host for The Howard Stern Show, adding content for Howard's radio and TV shows. Simultaneously she won roles in a surprising number of movies and TV, later becoming very popular as the co-host of CTV's live morning show "Breakfast Television". Kelsa made the leap to the U.S as a traffic reporter for Philadelphia's WCAU, the NBC affiliate. Within months she jumped a market to Chicago to do both radio and television; reporting news and traffic for the FOX affiliate WFLD from the helicopter. She went national within a few short months when she was courted by The Weather Channel, after a 2 year nationwide search for the perfect host of a new entertainment feature called "Road Crew". After traveling the country for 2 years hosting the show, she left Atlanta, where The Weather Channel is based, and once again headed west. Kelsa is in Los Angeles where her career continues to blossom both as an actress and broadcaster. She's starred in several independent feature films, was recently seen on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live, landed an international commercial for Trivial Pursuit, and also works part time for Metro Networks doing news and traffic for several different radio stations.

Kelsa Kinsly was the first TV Sportscaster in Vancouver B.C., when she became one of the commentators for The Vancouver Voodoo. The Voodoo was a Roller Hockey Team owned by former Vancouver Canuck Tiger Williams and Bryan Adams manager and radio personality Bruce Allen. The games aired on KVOS TV.

Kelsa was the MC for The Toronto Argonauts (CFL) for several years (2000-2004) at The Skydome (Rogers Center). She also MCed for The Toronto Rock (NLL) at The Maple Leaf Gardens during their four year straight reign as world champions in the early 2000s. Attendance was often over 30,000. Kelsa could also be seen MCing for The Toronto Blue Jays in 2001-2003 at ACC.

The only person to be on-air at The Weather Channel that wasnt either a meteorologist or scientist.
