Was formerly part of a musical improv group known as "Hug Bear" which regularly rehearsed at a go-to improv home in West Hollywood. Residents included Ray Corasani , Jonny Cruz , and Robby Storey.
Along with fellow actors Ray Corasani , Frank Miranda , Maritza Cabrera , Kelly is an alumnus of the acting class of Lesly Kahn and Co.
Her first film credit was a short student film made at San Diego State University and included Chris Radomski , Lisa Winans , Greg Nicolayeff , Anthony Cannata , and Teresa Huang.
Started out as a theatre stage actress in San Diego with local students including Rickey Phatsenhann and Judy Codina.
Her parents are from Vietnam.
So much of me is because of the things my parents overcame so that I,could have the luxury of having a dream. I see so much of me reflected,in the people here, and so much of them reflected in me. I am so proud,of being a Vietnamese-American. .
