Biography

Kazuki Kevin Akiba was born on December 6, 1994. Growing up in Southern California, Kazuki auditioned for a small part in Clint Eastwood's "Letters from Iwo Jima" as well as some Japanese commercials including "Dragon Quest III". Soon, instead of pursuing a career as an entertainer, he went on to attend California Academy of Mathematics and Science. There, he took a cinema class and fell in love with it, thus pursued his career as a filmmaker. From there and forward, Kazuki has made numerous of short films and documentaries, receiving recognition from various online communities. In 2013, he made his cameo appearance in Freddie Wong's Video Game High School Season 2 as well as associate produced an award-winning documentary, 'Sriracha'. He currently attends New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, concentrating in the film program as well as the business entertainment program. Kazuki is currently wrapping up on his upcoming directorial shorts, "Lotus " and "Petrichor" and is also producing award-winning Director Daniel Cooper's "The King".
