Katie Uhlmann is an actor, writer and director. She is most well known for directing, co-writing, and acting in the critically acclaimed comedy web series entitled My Roommate's an Escort. She also wrote, co-directed and acted in the award-winning short film Pyramid Scream. Additionally, Katie is known for hosting over 3000 interviews for her show Katie Chats.
Graduated from Queens University with an Honours degree in Drama and Psychology in 2009.
Early on Katie studied under the now late Goldie Semple at the renowned Shaw Festival. Since then she has trained with coaches Howard Fine and Aaron Speiser in Los Angeles, and David Rotenberg in Toronto.
Has dual European and Canadian citizenship.
Was a recipient of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award for community service.
