Biography

Kathryne Isabelle Easton is an American filmmaker who grew up in Syracuse, NY. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She is an award winning writer, director, and actor. She owns and operates a full service production company, Abhorrent Behavior, with her husband, Matt Fore, in Los Angeles. Telling complex and layered stories about women is her specialty.

Kathryne won the American International Film Festivals award for Best Female Director and Best Drama for "Sketch," a short film she also wrote and starred in. (September 2012).

"Happy Birthday, Ray!" written, produced, and starring Kathryne is an official selection of the Monarch Film Festival, held in Pacific Grove, California, the New York Los Angeles International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Womens International Film Festival, and the Womens International Film Festival held in Miami, Florida.

Kathryne won the Richmond International Film Festivals Short Film Production Award for writing "Sleep to Dream.".

Her husband, Matt Fore, is a cinematographer.

Kathrynes feature script, "Happy Birthday, Ray!" (based on her original short film) was a quarter finalist in the Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship in 2014.
