Becoming a first time mom at age 35, Grody wrote an autobiographical one-woman show called "A Moms Life" in which she examines the pros and cons of what happens when an award-winning actress (Grody has won two Obies for her off-Broadway work) sets her career aside and becomes a stay-home mother. The play has been running on and off with Grody since 1990.
