Katerina speaks excellent Turkish, such that, a native speaker of Turkish cannot always pick up a Greek accent on her speech. She learned Turkish during the shooting of Kayikci. She spends most of her time in Turkey, basically living there.

She studied in Paris and graduated from Paris III - Sorbonne University. Holds a Maitrise in "Theater Arts And Acting" and a D.E.A (equivalent of Masters) in "Theater Arts".

She has a passion for the history of Greek music, lyrics and composers. She loves to read books on history of nations and religions as well as on philosophy. Her favorite poet is Kavafis. In her free time, she takes a ride with her Vespa or paints.

Katerina has become a popular figure for the Turkish public.

She has a brother, Konstantinos, an engineer.

Shares her life between Greece and Turkey, Athens and Istanbul since 1998.

She is fluent in Greek, English, French, Italian, Turkish and German, with an ability to use different accents in each.

Her duet "Mia Fora" with composer and singer Dimitri Korgialas in 2004 was a huge hit and won two awards at the "2004 Mad Music Awards" as the best duet and best rock song.

She was born in Monterey, California, USA when her father, a naval officer of Hellenic Navy, was studying at the Monterey Naval Postgraduate School.

Also a dancer. After 10 years of classical ballet education in Athens (Royal Academy Of Dancing System - "Advanced" level), she joined choreographer Mia Fryes classes at the "Centre De Danse Du Marais" in Paris for 5 years.

In the beginning of her acting career, Katerina taught hip hop in Greece and choreographed video clips for the boy-band "4-PLAY".

Worked as a singer and has supported major Greek singers such as Anna Vissi and Sakis Rouvas.
