Kate Peytavin was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the youngest of two children to parents Lance and Anne Peytavin. She has a quick wit and is known for her excellent comedic timing. Kate started expressing an interest in acting at the age of 6, when she began writing, directing, and acting in her own videos on her mom's iPad. She fell in love with the stage and being in front of the camera when she started singing in her school's talent shows and performing in musicals through Christian Youth Theatre. While staying involved with Christian Youth Theatre's classes and shows, Kate also began actively pursuing a career in TV and film by enrolling in private voice lessons with American Idol's Clif St. Laurent and taking weekly classes with Debby Gaudet's Screen Actors Studio. Within a few short months she was signed by the first agent who came to see her class. It wasn't long before she began booking roles in music videos, public service announcements, webisodes, and short films. It was during this time that Kate's YouTube channel exploded with a few viral videos she had released. Her channel just surpassed the 10 million views mark with over 86,000 subscribers. She works as an App Influencer and Top Content Creator for several different popular apps and has done promotional work for a few different companies on her own channel by doing product reviews or live Facebook takeovers on their accounts. Kate is an artist with a passion to create. She is a DIY kid who loves to put on a show and make people laugh. The recurring comments she receives from her YouTube fans are: 'You remind me of a Disney princess' and 'You need to go on America's Got Talent'. The sky is the limit for Kate, but one of the best things about her is the joy she takes in the little things life offers. It's her humble nature and her happiness in just being with her family that make her so special.
