Kassandra Marr

Kassandra was born in Châteaudun, a small French town, north of Paris. She was a happy child with a rebellious streak but also a dreamer, often called the "little devil with the angel face". As early as the age of 10, she was already performing at the town's theater, reenacting her favorite works from Moliere for her friend's amusement. However at the age of 15, she decided to focus her energies on her studies of languages. Upon arriving in Canada, Kassandra was approached by Patricia Lombardi, from the prestigious John Casablanca's Modeling Agency, who took her under her tutelage and offered her a modeling contract. Kassandra soon found herself in demand, working on various television commercials and print adds. She participated in America's Top Model search Contest, went to the finals in New York and placed amongst the top 20's. She soon found herself longing for her first love, acting, and decided to come back to Canada where she quickly immersed herself into workshops and classes. Before long she was signed by a local Talent Agency. It was during this time that she started her studies with John Boylan, an actor and coach who had and continues to have a great influence on her. While continuing to train with John, Kassandra landed a few television commercials and made her film debut on "The Girl from Nowhere" an independent film directed by Andrej Constantinov. Two years ago, Kassandra decided to take some time off from acting in order to concentrate on her writing.
