Biography

Karan Choudhary was born on November 11th, 1989 in Faridabad India. He is an internationally acclaimed actor/film maker from India with extraordinary abilities in the arts. He was a gym trainer and salesman in a clothing store in New Delhi, India before he became an actor/director. After studying theatre and working with professionals in Bollywood, he came to New York in 2013 to study further and to learn specific techniques about acting and filmmaking. He studied at one of the most renowned acting and theatre schools in this country, The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, where some of the greatest actors, among them Robert Duvall, Gregory Peck, Diane Keaton, Tom Cruise, and Mary Steenburgen, who went there to learn from the great acting teacher Sanford Meisner. He has also worked as an actor in many great theatre productions, including Iphigenia 2.0, The Normal Heart, Lovers and Other Strangers, Hy, Gaslight, and Birds in Church. He's been part of many Tv, Film and theatre productions in the USA. His documentary "Dedication" was a big success in film festival circuit. Which he directed himself and got nominated and awarded for best short documentary in many film festivals throughout the world. He is also a Jury Member in two prestigious film festivals in Norway and New York. His body of work in Films and television as an actor and director is growing every year.
