Kade is the Lighting Designer and Technical Director for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Theatre Department, where he is a Professor and currently Department Head. Originally from New York, this workaholic designed the set & lighting for KTVF's News Center . He has also written a few plays primarily used as lighting projects including: Case 457, A Night for Conversation and Foxhole. Kade won "Best in show: Animation" at the Fairbanks Film Festival for his animated short "Love at First Light" and an honorable mention for his animated short "Hounds".
